Our members build and sail various types of models, from warships to merchant ships and fishing vessels of all descriptions.  We also build and sail model yachts od various types and sizes.

The club meets twice weekly, Tuesdays and Sundays, throughout the year.  During the summer we meet between 7pm and 9pm and during the winter we meet in the afternoon, 2pm till 4pm.

We welcome members of all ages and membership fees are as follows - individual membership £10.00 (16yrs and upwards) family membership £15.00 (Family membership consists of one full member and partner and two juniors (under 16yrs) provided they reside at the same address)  this covers public liability insurance.

We are also members of the Scottish Federation of Model Boat Clubs, which keeps us in touch with other clubs throughout the country.  Some of our members visit these clubs to take part in their annual competitions which they hold at their own club sailing water.  We hold our own annual regatta and open competitions usually at the end of August.

The Club would like anyone who is interested in model boating to come along on one of our club days and you will find a great number of people who are only too willing to talk to you and tell you what it is all about.
